Server 2016 Shared folders

Good Day Everyone,

I have a mind ripping issue I'm currently facing with my shared folders and their permissions.

ill set up the environment, basically this customer has Two separate domain controllers "DomainA" and "DomainB"
users primarily use a "DomainA" login on their working laptops, they have on both A and B share network drives controlled
through the server manager, in which I see is correct.

The domains are connected in a way where users with a login to A have access to B though the domain trust system
(honestly have no idea if it's correct as they are inherited from elsewhere)

Eventually, A and B will be split and it will be running two separate DC's but currently, those who are working on A with access to B
have a login account for both controllers with the same username (no clue if this will cause issues)

Now here comes the issue, currently the users have a running log-on script on A which will automatically map drives from both A and B
with the login information from A, this all works well and propper users can move, add and delete files.
When they attempt to use a CAD Program OR Download files from the internet and save them directly to the Network storage, those files do-not inherit any of the permissions/access controls.

I personally have looked in several places, including the permissions them-selfs, group policies etc, the network-adapters, and honestly cannot find anything
which could hinder this.

Any help and all help is appreciated.

sidenote: the customer currently does not want a server dedicated to FileStorage at this current time.

    1. According to the description information, we can know that a trust relationship is established between DomainA and DomainB. With this trust relationship, users of DomainA can access the resources of DomainB. For more questions about trust, we can refer to the following link:

    1. According to our understanding, if the user of DomainA cannot access the file, we need to add the permission of this user. Open this file, select "Properties", add this user under the "Security" dialog box, and give the appropriate permissions. Finally verify whether this user can successfully access this file
