Windows 7 ribbon and access toolbar disappeared

Question

Windows 7 Pro, 8 hours after normal operating, and probably in the wake of an automatic update, my top-of-monitor ribbon and access toolbar have disappeared. First time this has ever occurred. I tried Control + F1, which I remember from a Windows 10 issue, with no response. How do I get back an keep back these operating ribbons/toolbars?

Ribbon and Access Toolbar are parts of an editing program. Can you tell us if this is a part of Windows 7 environment? These toolbars are part of an Office programs like Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

To ensure that we can provide an appropriate resolution about missing toolbars, we’d like to ask you a few questions:

• What is the ribbon and access toolbar you are talking about? Where in the Windows 7 interface is it located?
• Which version or build of Windows device are you using? To know, press Windows + R to open the Run window. Type winver and press Enter. A new window will open showing the version and build number of your Windows device.
• Aside from pressing Ctrl + F1, what other steps have you tried?
