Have been trying to install this since yesterday, I've tried doing clean boot, deleting and re-downloading the update etc. Not sure what else to do, it tells me it's an important update so I need to get this sorted.

I had the same problem and found a solution.

For this update, TEMP file location should be set to default  C:.

I  changed Temp file location from RAM disk to C:\ for this update and it worked.  Thereafter I changed the Temp file location back to RAM disk.

Alright... step by step. This is for Windows 7.

    1. Click on the Windows button in the lower left corner of the screen.
    2. Find along the right side of the menu an item called "Computer". Right-click on this item and select from the drop down menu that appears the item "Properties".
    3. Along the left side of the window that opens you will find an item "Advanced System Settings". Click on this item.
    4. You will see along the bottom of the new window that opened a button labelled "Environmental Variables..." Click on this button.
    5. Now there should be a window labelled  Environmental Variables open. You will see variable lists for both the User and for the System. Find the variables TEMP and TMP under both areas. Edit all these variables to point to "C:\TEMP"
    6. Click the OK button.
    7. Click the OK button again.

At this point you should be able to apply the update without error. It may be a good idea to reboot your computer to ensure the variables are working before applying the patch.

EDIT: Sorry about this. You need to make sure that the C:\TEMP directory exists. Create it if it doesn't. Pappa_bear has a good explanation on how to do this below.

Your answer was very clear. unfortunatly, it didn't solve the problem.

I have replaced the variables for the TEMP & TMP for both:  the User and for the System with the variable: C:\TEMP.

Then i have restarted the computer and cheked for update.

I'm still recieving the same code error

    Any other solution?

    Thanks/

You forgot to create TEMP folder on disk C:

System does not create this folder automatically.

8.1) Click on the Windows button in the lower left corner of the screen.

8.2) Click on the "Computer", in the window that opens click twice on "Label of disk" (C:)

8.3) In the window that opens right click on the white space (not on files or folders), in

the menu that appears select "New" -> "Folder". Rename folder that appears to TEMP

    Sorry for my english.
