Hi ,

I am bit confused to answer to my manager ,hence I am posting this question.

One of our client machine is showing December month patches non compliant . but the machine is recently patched with Jan month patches and showing compliant successfully. As per MS the Dec month patches is currently superseded. Now if I pulled out the report from SCCM for auditing then it says December month non compliant for the client but Jan month complaint.

Is it right ? or how can i make this client compliant with this Dec month superseded update .

    @Tushar Debnath

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    One of our client machine is showing December month patches non-compliant.

    Could we know where we saw the "non-compliant" message, in the SCCM console or update report? If possible, could you share a "non-compliant" screenshot?

    As per MS the Dec month patches is currently superseded. Now if I pulled out the report from SCCM for auditing then it says December month Non-compliant for the client but Jan month complaint.

    Based on my understanding, each cumulative update includes the changes and fixes from all previous updates, after patching the Jan month patches, these machines are shown as compliant.

    How can I make this client compliant with this Dec month superseded update?

    Superseded Updates could be deployed to client in SCCM, but they will not install if the superseding update has been made available through a deployment.

    Have a nice day!
