Hi,

By default, Windows Admin Centre is installed in Windows Server 2019.

Moreover, I read, Windows Admin Centre can be installed in Windows 10.

Please let me know,

  1. How Windows Admin Centre is defferent than Server Manager?
  2. In comparison of Windows Admin Centre, what features are missing in Server Manager?
  3. How Windows Admin Centre can be helpful for Windows 10?

Please elaborate. I’ll be thankful for giving your time.

With Regards
NndnG

    Hi,
Users need to install Windows Admin Center on the server based on their scenarios and it is not the replacement of server manager but indeed it contains some capabilities of its server manager resolution.
Meanwhile, WAC also provides resolution of Computer Management for machines with windows client OS, Cluster manager and so on.
Is Windows Admin Center a complete replacement for all traditional in-box and RSAT tools?
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/manage/windows-admin-center/understand/faq#is-windows-admin-center-a-complete-replacement-for-all-traditional-in-box-and-rsat-tools

You could find the core functionality of WAC from below poster:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/manage/windows-admin-center/media/wac1910poster_thumb.png

With WAC, it provides the admin an alternative method(broswer) to manage the servers or clients more easily without limitation of devices. The functions will be different based on where the WAC is installed and functioned as Gateway.
What type of installation is right for you?

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.

    Thanks,
    Jenny

@Anonymous @Jenny Yan-MSFT I tried to install Windows Admin Center in Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10.

    Windows Server 2019:

    Windows 10:
    64104-10.png

    What should I conclude now?
Does it mean, in case of Windows Server, it can be installed on Member Server?
    Or anything else?

    Pls clarify?

    With Regards
