In my PC i installed avast anivirus before many days. Now i want to uninstall it from my PC. When i see it to uninstall from control panel but there is no icon of avast anti virus though there is an icon in my toolbar. Besides, when i want to install an update avast anti virus then there is a message to uninstall the current anti virus but i can't. Please, help me

Did you right click on that Avast Icon near the clock > then "Stop On-Access Protection" > then use Add and Remove Programs to uninstall it?
Or follow the instructions to use the Avast Uninstall Tool.

Sometimes there are stubborn legacy AV files that stay on your OS even after using a removal tool, try using a third party uninstaller, There is a free generic AV uninstall utility called AppRemover that removes several versions of Avast (and that of other AV vendors).
