    Looks like it's concerning this user

    Laco SID (S-1-5-21-114075978-3407090206-334080855-1001)

    If that is your current user, can you uninstall Skype and it goes away?

    I would think if it does, then perhaps right click the main Skype executable, compatibility, change compatibility for All users, and add 'run as admin' to the launch property?

    That would be all great and everything, except, unless you take ownership of the AppID (the other long string), you can't edit permissions on the Component.

    Or when you have no idea where the app ID is, and there is no search in component services.. i've got one

    The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

    {9BA05972-F6A8-11CF-A442-00A0C90A8F39}

     and APPID

    {9BA05972-F6A8-11CF-A442-00A0C90A8F39}

     to the user QOSIMO\_ SID (S-1-5-21-1761934528-204544772-851129101-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
