When I pair Parrot Zik with Windows 7 I get an error message: Bluetooth Peripheral Device - No driver found!!!

Original title: Bluetooth Headphones - Device driver was not successfully installed

Hello,

I paired Parrot Zik with Windows 7 Home Premium ASUS UX31E. I got error message:

Bluetooth Handsfree - Ready to use

Bluetooth A2DP Sink - Ready to use

Bluetooth Advanced Remote Control Service - Ready to use

Bluetooth Peripheral Device - No driver found!!!

What this means and how I can fix this? Thank you.

    Hi JanneKallinen,

    The error message**:**Bluetooth Peripheral Device - No driver found, usually means that the Bluetooth device driver is not installed or it’s out of date or even not compatible with Windows 7. You need to install the latest device driver from the manufacturer's website and check if it helps:

    Hello I am having the same problem too.

    But I am using Lenovo T410

    Can you please link me to the driver :)

    I solved it by disabling the Parrot RFcomm service

    Control Panel > Devices and Printers

    Right klik the Parrot Zik and choose properties

    Click the Tab Services and uncheck Parrot RFcomm service

    Perform the following methods and check:

    Method 2:

    I would recommend you to place the computer in clean boot and check:

    **Note:**After troubleshooting, make sure to put the computer to start as usual as mentioned in Step 7 in the above KB article.

    Thank you very much Joseph your message. I did corrective actions but still it doesn't work. Also test it with my Windows 8 Release Preview and it's works fine. Looks like problems is Windows 7. :(

    Any idea what I can do?

    Hi,

    Perform the following steps and check:

    **Step 1:**Perform the steps mentioned in the following link and check:

    Error: "Bluetooth peripheral device driver not found" when you try to connect a bluetooth device

    **Step 2:**If the issue still persists then try the following step:

    a. Turn on your bluetooth device

    b. Right click the bluetooth device icon in the system tray

    c. Choose / click "Show bluetooth devices"

    d. There will be some list of devices you ever paired with (like your phone, other laptop, etc).

    e. Just remove the entire list and check.
