I am trying to help my friend to find her Uninstall Option in Windows Vista, It is not showing up in Add/Remove Programs. I have even tried double clicking on a program to delete it to no avail. Can someone help me with this please.

Thank you.

    Hi,

In Windows vista the add/remove programs is named as programs and features. Make sure the operating system is Windows vista before performing the above steps.

You may upload the screenshot so that we could help you further.

I will check on all of this the next time I am over there. Which probably won't be till June as she lives 7 hours away. I just thought that someone could tell me an easy way of getting that on there but if Vista did not have it then I don't know. When I go in June I am upgrading her windows to 7 Ultimate.

Yes she has Vista. I have checked. She is unable to uninstall any program. There are several that she wants to take off but as of now there is no way.

Vista doesn't have a Add/Remove Programs feature. It has Programs and Features.

Are you sure you have Vista and not XP?

What happens if you right click it?

Is it for all or one program?

    Step 2: Clean boot

If you do not face the issue in safe mode, then put your computer in clean boot and check for the issue.

Note: Once you are done with clean boot, please follow the section ‘How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot’ under ‘more information’ in the article to put your computer back to normal startup.

    Method 3:

How do I: Post a screen shot on this forum?
