FinOps data lake export (mulitple instances)

If you have more than one instance in the same Dynamics 365 tenant in FinOps (say it’s a subsidiary company), does that FinOps instance get its own database? Or does it use the FinOps tenant database/Set of entities. So when exporting to data lake, I’m expecting one set of entities that represent all FinOps company instances, and filter by company ID.

Does this make sense?

FinOps = Finance and Operations (Dynamics 365)
