I have also been looking for q240075. I recently purchased a new TRENDnet KVM switch which is Windows98 compatible, but my keyboard and mouse don't work with one of my desktop PCs, which is running Windows 98.

The owner's manual was published in 2009.  The troubleshooting guide states, "... if your computer is running Windows 98SE, you may need to download and install the USB hot fix.  Please go to this link for download and installation instructions: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q240075."

The support for Windows 98 has been ended. I would suggest you to upgrade to Windows XP Operating System.
