Microsoft office onenote quick launch

I am using ms office 2007 and I just found that Microsoft office onenote quick launch is running in background. Is it okay if I turn it off i.e. disable it from startup and in background too. So my question is if I do this it wont cause any problem in usage right ?

    As a result of this little tool you should see a Onenote icon in the system tray of your task bar:

    You can configure its function by right clicking. One possible feature (with one click) is creating a screenshot + inserting it in Onenote.

    If you kill this little tool you'll kill this feature (and others).

    But it will do no harm to your Onenote ;-)
