App Volume and device preferences -- API/DLL Interface?

Hello,
Is there any public API or way to programmatically control the content that appears on the "App Volume and device preferences" settings in Windows 10?
I tried looking through the Core Audio API but I didn't see anything that seemed to match.
Specifically I want to be able to set a designated .EXE path to use a specific audio output device in a programmatic fashion. They are third party executables so I am not able to directly modify their source code to be able to set the audio output device.

2021-02-05T14:29:50.353+00:00 I'm looking for the application specific audio routing ability that was added with Windows 10, which is done on the "App Volume and device preferences" settings screen.
I will have several instances of the application that needs to be distinctly routed to different places, so a global audio switch for all sounds on the computer isn't sufficient.
And since there may be 100+ instances, I was hoping for an API interface to configure them all in an automated fashion.

2021-02-05T16:04:11.37+00:00 Additionally, I've found out that an MIT Licensed project does something similar. But it seems to be using an internal/hidden MMDeviceAPI not exposed in the Core Audio API?
Is this actually the real interface? I assume since it's not public Microsoft is free to change it at any point.

I use for example IPolicyConfig to set default audio endpoint globally and it never changed (used by MS in Control Panel)
But some other undocumented interfaces changed (mainly the Guid) in several Windows 10 updates. -

- If your app can appear on this page, is your requirement to redirect output? Like:
