"Getting Status" of Message Trace seems to mean delay.
But I can't tell if it's a delay inside the EOP or a delay outside the EOP.
Now, I have confirmed various cases.

  1. "Getting Status" in [MB → EOP → EOP → MB].
  2. "Getting Status" in [Outside → EOP → MB].
  3. "Getting Status" in [MB → EOP → Outside].
  4. "Getting Status" in [Outside → EOP → EXO Group → EXO].
    <<< Only one user.

Please teach me.
Q1. Does "Getting Status" indicate the delay that occurred inside EXO?
Q2. Event of Get-MessageTraceDetail is received, but is it a specification that "Getting Status" is not changed?
Q3. Can I know if it's a delay inside the EOP or a delay outside the EOP?
<<< The email header states that from **. **. **. ** by *******. Mail.protection.outlook.com is delayed by 6 hours.

Q1. In Official document, Getting status: "The message was recently received by Microsoft 365, but no other status data is yet available. Check back in a few minutes."
The message in "Getting status" doesn't mean it would delay,
Q2. It might be a problem of message tracing in GUI.
The comand says it's received, is message received or not actually?
Q3. You can post the message header in EXRCA-Message header analyzer to check where the delay: https://mha.azurewebsites.net/
"<<< The email header states that from . . . by ***. Mail.protection.outlook.com is delayed by 6 hours." Is the a result of header analyzer tool?
