Windows\system32\config\system Error code: 0xc000000f - "Operating system couldn't be loaded because system registration file is missing or contains errors."

Hello everyone,

I am truly hoping someone can help me.  I have a Gateway NE56R41U 64-bit laptop with a Windows 8 OS.  2 days ago, I tried to restore it to the original factory setting and the message I typed in the Title section is what came up.  I tried downloading the Recovery disc, which, by the way, there are 3 of them and 1 systems disc, but a blue screen kept popping up and this is what's displayed:

What I typed in the Title section

You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media.  If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your

system administrator or PC manufacturer.

Press Enter to try again

Press F8 for Startup Settings

Press ESC for UEFI Firmware Settings

I can't get the Recovery disc to upload.  Any time I press any of the options, it brings me back to this blue screen.  I don't know what else to do

and I'm surely not going to pay Gateway half of the value of my laptop.  Does anyone know what to do concerning this error code?  Thank you

I appreciate everyone's help, however, I ended up buying a new hard drive for my Gateway NE56R41U laptop.  Now, if someone can help me on downloading Windows 8 for the hard drive.  Gateway sent me

4 CD's:

1.  1 System Disc

2. 3  Recovery Discs.

Does anyone know which disc goes first? Or what is the procedure involved here?
