Removing RealPlayer Cloud and a Good Safe Alternative to RealPlayer

I have been having problems with RealPlayer since I downloaded it a few months ago. Then I downloaded RealPlayer Cloud. Nothing but problems since. I used the uninstall program in Control Panel and it removed everything ( I think) except RealPlayer Cloud. I can't find any way to remove it. How do I get rid of this unwanted "virus" of a program and what is a safe alternative that will let me download and convert youtube videos and such? Thanks for your help.

Pick something listed from a website that you recognize and then research it some more.

As for anything from RealPlayer, why are you asking in a Microsoft forum?  the product is from Real.com so why not ask there?

You asked your question in the Virus and Malware topic area, though.

Thanks Steve, I'm a first timer. I was treating RealPlayer as a virus because that is how it has been acting. All my other research has indicated that there are many people out there with the same problem. Going to RealPlayer.com is absolutely no help. And I am a Microsoft user. Kinda felt dissed by Rob. Thanks for your time and your input.
