Thank you for the update on the issue.
As suggested By Anil Kumar B in the previous response, the usual way to use Sanskrit/Hindi scripts is through special characters (Character Maps). However, you may install Sanskrit/Hindi fonts and make the necessary changes in the Control Panel.
- Click Start and open Control Panel.
- Click on Region and Languages.
- Go to the tab Keyboard & Languages and select Change Keyboards.
- Click on Add and scroll down to Hindi (India) > Keyboards.
- Check mark Devanagari - INSCRIPT.
- Click OK.
- Repeat Step 3 and select Hindi (India) - Devanagari - INSCRIPT in the Default Input Language menu.
- Click Apply and OK.
