Thanks for confirming my suspicions. As this is a refurb laptop, and you're crashing on a Windows reset with nothing but the latest drivers, etc, and up to date SSD firmware, it's a dud refurb unit. Your next step is to contact your place of purchase, or the manufacturer, and let them know.

Ok, did a reset, and checked that the SSD firmware was up to date. Still got BSOD's

    I'd definitely recommend performing what's called a Reset - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc

Also ensure the SSD firmware is 100% up to date.

I just put in the old SSD and booted, so no it did not come with a clean windows ;)

Is it enough to run the reset windows setting?

Okay, now this refurb laptop, did it come with a clean install of Windows? If not, that's what I am going to advise (a clean install of Windows with nothing afterwards but the latest drivers from the manufacturers website, and important Windows Updates - NOT OPTIONAL UPDATES).

    Regards,

    Patrick
