Hello, I'm facing with the unpredicted interruptions in my Azure function runs...

  1. I'm using Consumption Plan
  2. I deployed using zipdeploy
  3. I'm using function runtime 3
  4. I'm not setting WEBSITE_TIME_ZONE
  5. My CRON setting is */5 * * * *
  6. I expect function to fire every 5th minute
  7. Here are two invocation ids 2a503d8f-4461-4257-8997-62e51ef257ca (fired at 2021-02-08 09:10:00.011) and 01a2131c-cd3b-4604-8764-081ebc92a708 (fired at 2021-02-08 13:25:30.651)

Why is there a 4 hours delay between two mentioned runs?

Please mention that once I open Azure portal my function wakes up and starts working....

    Hello @Mykyta Bakirov

I would recommend to check runOnStartup and make sure that is set to false
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/functions-bindings-timer?tabs=python#configuration

    Your time trigger should have 6 digits - * */5 * * * *
