When upgraiding from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 - error 0xc1420127 & 0xc190010b.

Question

Hello,

Installed Windows 8 Pro with Media Center, activated.

When upgrading to Windows 8.1 with Media Center there was an error 0xc190010b.

Following recommendations on answers.microsoft.com/en-us  I preformed the following actions:

1. Fulfilled the clean boot, installed all updates with Windows Update
2. Ran the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

3. Deleted the folderC:$Windows.~BT that was created during the previous installation attempt

4. Changed the language of Windows display to original
5. changed the Regional standards to standards of the country where I'm now

6. With Windows Shop ran the update to W 8.1 again

Now I have the new error 0xc1420127 (probably, it's concerned with the deletion of C:$Windows.~BT)

Please help me to overcome the error 0xc1420127 and to get know what it means?

If nothing will help and I won't be able to upgrade to W 8.1, please explain how can I remove the large folders and files that were downloaded and created during the upgrade attempts?

Are you using a 3rd party antivirus application on your computer?

Refer to these methods and check.

Method 1:

Remove the externally connected devices and check. I would also suggest you to update the device drivers.

Method 2:

If you are using a 3rd party antivirus, disable/remove anti-virus software and check.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Refer to these methods and check.

Method 1:

Clear all your temp directories.

a.        Press Windows key and R key together.

b.       Type in %temp% and press enter.

c.        Delete the all files and folders.

Also run Disk Cleanup.

Delete files using Disk Cleanup.

Method 2:

Delete sub keys of Mounted Images and check.

a.        Press Windows key and R key together.

b.       Type in regedit and press enter.

c.        Go to the following location and delete sub keys of Mounted Images.

Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WIMMount\Mounted Images"

Despues de 6 Intentos para Activar mi tablet Asus VivoTab Nota 8 (M80TA), he conseguido que se actualice, gracias al METODO 2 deRahul_compfreak  , AUNQUE parezca mentira. Muchas gracias

Finally I have installed win10, thanks to Rahul's Method 2 "Mount Images" :)
