Maybe you could reproduce the error while monitoring the ULS logs on OOS. They're located at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OfficeWebApps\Data\Logs\ULS

Cannot open pptx file in the WOPI frame, the rest types of the files are opened. The error message "Sorry, we couldn't open this presentation because we ran into a problem. Please try again". All wopitests are passed. WOPI provider id is TP_WORKPLACE_QA_TEST, uses https://ffc-onenote.officeapps.live.com/hosting/discovery
Could someone point me a person who can clarify this strange behaviour.
