    Hi all,
It seems to be fixed by Microsoft.
No actions required from our side and updates are downloading now.

    Regards.

    Hi everybody,
I have the same issue and it seems that more people with other versions too (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/262172/wsus-sync-failure.html?page=2&pageSize=10&sort=oldest).
I'm looking for a possible solution, but I can't find it.
If you find a workaround, I would appreciate you if you share the info.

    Thank you so much.
    Regards.
    Edu

    Hello Sam,

Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

According to this link, please help to confirm whether the KB4039929 or a later-version update package has been installed on the WSUS Server or not. If not, we could try to install the update first to see whether this issue will be resolved or not.

In addition, the Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise has already out of support. In order to get the better support, it is recommended to upgrade to the last version.

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.

    Regards,
    Rita
