I get error 800F0922 when installing KB3022345 update.

I've tried it both automatically and manually, and always get the same error.

Some advice about this?

    Try this:

    1. Uninstall KB3045999
    2. It will ask you to restart windows, but DON'T RESTART
    3. Install KB3022345
    4. Restart Windows
    5. Install KB3045999
    6. Restart Windows

This worked for me.  Good Luck.

Same here on my W8.1 tablet. Its failed twice.

IT'll just leave it a few days and try again, then as its optional if it still fails I'll hide it.

It worked OK at the second attempt on my desktop machine but I've tried it six times, both before and after running WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab, on my laptop and it's no go.

Same here on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bits.

All yesterday's optional updates installed just fine, except for this one.

I tried all suggestions mentioned in: Windows Update Error Code 800F0922

Also, I disabled my Norton Internet Security version 21.70.11 when trying to install the update.

Applying the patch manually using this link: Update for Windows 8.1 (KB3022345)  did not work either, giving this message: "The update is not applicable to your computer".

I suspect it is a faulty patch which may indeed not be applicable to our machine.

    Cheers,

    Dave
