I have the Authenticator app on my cell phone and it's generating codes every 30 seconds but, Facebook is asking for a 3rd party code but not accepting the codes from Authenticator. I'm 63 years old and not very tech savvy, so please be patient. Thank You!

Yes, they do have a Code Generator but to access it, I have to be logged in and that's my problem. Isn't Microsoft Authenticator a 3rd party because the system is telling me to use the 6 digit number form Code Generator or a 3rd party app?
