I just updated my nugets pacakes, from 4.8.0.1821 -> 5.0.0.1931 and it triggered this error :
I checked my namespaces and a lot of differents other things...
I even started a new project, empty, builded it -no pb so far-, then updated the Xamari.Forms from 4.8.0.1821 -> 5.0.0.1931 and the problem appeared !
Am I the only one ?
The problem occurs from the v5.0.0.1874 in my case.

Does the problem only occurs on 5.x even if you set up a new blank project ?I suggest you reinstall visual studio 2019 to see if problem persists.

Matt Goldman 1 Reputation point2021-04-07T21:47:52.277+00:00 I have this problem too. I first started noticing it in my DevOps build pipeline, and then updated to the latest version of Visual Studio 2019 (16.9.3) and now get this in my local build too.
