Hi Welcome to Microsoft community. If your Bluetooth headphones are not being detected on your Windows 11 system, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here's a structured approach to help you identify and fix the problem:

    1. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled

Turn On Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

Quick Settings: Click on the network icon in the taskbar to open Quick Settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled there as well.

    1. Check Headphones

Power On: Ensure your headphones are turned on and in pairing mode. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to put them into pairing mode.

Battery: Make sure the headphones have sufficient battery.

    1. Restart Bluetooth Service

Services: Press Win + R, type services.msc and press Enter.

Bluetooth Support Service: Find Bluetooth Support Service, right-click it, and select Restart.

    1. Remove and Re-add Device

Device Manager: Press Win + X and select Device Manager.

Uninstall Device: Locate your Bluetooth device under Bluetooth, right-click it, and select Uninstall device.

Restart PC: Restart your computer to reinstall the Bluetooth driver automatically.

    1. Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Settings: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

Bluetooth Troubleshooter: Find Bluetooth and click Run.

    1. Check Bluetooth Settings

Settings: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.

Add Device: Click Add device and follow the instructions to add your Bluetooth headphones.

    1. Reset Bluetooth Adapter

Settings: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings.

Network Reset: Click Network reset and follow the prompts to reset.

    1. Try a Different Device

Other Devices: Try connecting your Bluetooth headphones to another device (e.g., smartphone) to ensure they are working properly.

    1. Contact Support

If none of the above steps work, it might be worth contacting the manufacturer’s support for both your Bluetooth headphones and your PC for further assistance. Let me know if you need further assistance.Best regardsDerrick Qian | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

Hello. I have been using this pc for about a year now and the monitor doesn't have a volume so I have to use some sort of headphones. My working headphones that was connected by a wireless USB port broke recently. Now I'm trying to use Bluetooth I have tried everything even followed all the steps you listed but nothing is working. My Bluetooth headphones I'm trying to connect right now work for iPhone iPad etc. but anything on the pc doesn't work. I find it strange because if I try to Bluetooth my pc to a TV the TV's show up but my devices wont. Like I said I tried almost all your steps even to disconnect all my devices that could have been connected to my headphones its just not working. after a little digging I found maybe its because of the Bluetooth software not supporting the headphones but I tried 7 different blue tooth headphones and it still doesn't work.
