Adaptive card in teams - add event to outlook button action set

i have created an adaptive card that publishes an adaptive card to teams of a SharePoint event in a written to a SharePoint event list which notifies the user that submitted it.

I am looking for an action set to add to my outlook calendar button.

I have had no joy regarding this and constantly, run into multiple posts in regards to adaptive cards within outlook.

am i right thinking that i would need to create a seeparate power autimatic flow that is tasked to do this exact function and use this as the method to complete this task and i would post the URl of this flow into the action?

or would i need to use the Outlook REST APIs within microsoft graph within a HTTP request.

Just seems to me like functionality that should already exist within the framework.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Neil.

    hi, yes to elaborate.

I have created a event calendar within SharePoint, for users to add their leave and use as an event calendar

so I have a power automate trigger which when an event is added sends the event to their line manger for approval.

Once approved it then validates and appears in the calendar and also sends and email and adaptive card to teams informing the user that their leave has been approved or rejected.

what I want is a feature where on the approved adaptive card it has a button so the user can add this leave to their own outlook calendar by the click of a button inside the adaptive card.

I am trying to find out how that button would work.

    Regards

    Neil.
