Hi ChristopherDanelutti
Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. Let's start with this -
Open File Explorer > View tab > Check whether Navigation Pane is ON or not

I was prompted to update today and I did. Now, when I open File Explorer, the menu tab on the left side of the file explorer window is missing the menu that listed the folders (documents, this PC, whatever external storage I had plugged into a USB port, etc...) I want that menu back. How do I turn it back on when I didn't want it turned off in the first place?

Ah, that's what did it. Apparently, I was suffering from an I-D-10-T error LOL Thank you so very much!
Hi Chris. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Guardian Moderator here to help you.
From the File Explorer View tab, enable Navigation Pane.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
The problem is solved! Thank you!
