Hi,

you need Windows 2008 R2 to be able to activate the Recycle Bin.

Even with "recyble bin", I don't know an option to revert only changes done by a specific user.

You have to analyze the script, and restore all objects that could have been modified by this script.

thanks for response Tdeman. I am aware of activating recycle bin. but was checking for this type of user modification backup. i am sure this option is available. but could find the procedure to do so. if any one can help me with the procedure it would be really helpful

Hi @suresharasup-6706,

you need an existing backup done with "Windows Backup" or product compatible with Active Directory to be able to restore some objects (Users and/or Groups) as they were before.

If you have at least one backup done on any domain controller of this domain, before the actions of the script, it is possible to
- look and see how were the objects
- Restore one or more objects, (you have to select "autoritative restore" ONLY on objects that have to be recovered in the old state).

If you have some "intelligent" backups as VEEAM, it is possible to look and restore selected objects with the graphical interface.

Regards,
