With so many users even beta testers using Chrome. How was this problem not worked out in beta releases? I could see some obscure software slipping by but Chrome?
I will give you partial praise Microsoft for not completely breaking my PC during upgrade. But my Wife's HP notebook took three hours to upgrade and had to download the upgrade twice. Not a smooth transition for a upgrade by any stretch and I did not opt for the upgrade.
When you push this stuff out half baked it really has no positive for your image or what users think of Windows. You just make yourself a worse image and create issues that should have been resolved before release to public. Personally I am thankful that one of my PC's hasn't received the upgrade so at least I can work without issues. Yes, I could go back to 1709 but knowing Windows update will just re install 1803 again in a day or two doesn't seem worth the effort. Microsoft needs to offer a option to go back and hold at that version for at least 30 days or 60 days preferred so that fixes can be put in place.
