Hello,
Sorry for the delay in reply.
Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.
- What is the make and model number of your computer?
- Have you tried connecting it to a different computer?
However, you may follow the below mentioned steps and see if that helps:
Method 1:
Deleting the ghost drivers:
Device Manager displays only non-Plug and Play devices, drivers, and printers when you click
Show hidden devices on the
View menu. Devices that you install that are not connected to the computer (such as a Universal Serial Bus [USB] device or "ghosted" devices) are not displayed in Device Manager, even when you click
Show hidden devices.
Open Command prompt as administrator:
- Click on Start menu and type
CMD in the search filed.
- When the command prompt search result is shown, right click on it.
- Select 'Run as administrator'.
- You may type below mentioned
command or copy paste it.
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
- Start, search for device manager, and select Device Manager from the search results
Troubleshoot the devices and drivers in Device Manager.
Note: Click Show hidden devices on the View menu in Device Manager before you can see devices that are not connected to the computer.
Method 2:
I suggest you to follow the Microsoft article to update the latest drivers:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4028443/windows-10-update-drivers
Windows might not be able to find a driver for your device. If this happens, you might want to check the manufacturer's website for
a driver or update for the USB device, or try installing any software that came with the device.
Hope it helps.
