Before a few days sleep option disappeared out of nowhere in the power options.

What should I do to get it back?

Tried to restore the power configuration via CMD, but no luck.

I am on Home Single Language version and local group policies are also not shown anywhere.

    Hi Hardik.

The remaining option would be to perform an in-place repair with the Windows 11 ISO.

Please follow the steps, this is then just an update and your files and applications will remain untouched.

    Click this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

to download the Windows 11 ISO

When the ISO file completes downloading

    Disconnect from the Internet

Disconnect all external devices with the exception of a mouse or keyboard.

Temporarily disable any 3rd party Anti-virus you may have installed

Then, in Windows File Explorer, double click the ISO and then run Setup.exe and select the upgrade option.

    Hi Hardik,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Sleep in Windows is controlled by your video card device driver, the best first option is to go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and re-install the video card device drivers.

    Hello Dave,

    Thanks for the update.

I have HP lapttop with AMD processor.

There are 2 types of video drivers I suspect, one for the Graphics card and another for processor inbuilt graphics.

    Which one controls that?

    Hi Hardik,

The best option is to re-install all video device drivers, usually it would be the integrated graphics, but best to reinstall both.
