Hello. When I tried to open any program, in this case like setup or anything and tried to use Run as Administrator, the message always appears and I can't open it. It also happens to my task manager and command prompt (Admin), the message also appears. This problem happens after I update my windows 10. Please let me know  how to fix this

    Do you have AVAST installed?

Either way, go to the following path in your registry, look for the executable filename of the program you're trying to open and look for a "Debugger" key.  Check if the value says AVAST in it.  If it does, just open the Debugger key, remove the value and save it again.  Try to open your program again.

    Thanks for the respond

The exact error message is actually similiar for each app. The different only on the Path. For example

    • when I tried to open task manager => Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\system32\taskmgr.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again
    • The other app, for example, the NVIDIA GeForce experience => Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience\NVIDIA GeForce.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

This happens in every app when I tried to open it as Administrator

The idea is my laptop couldn't find the '.exe'. file but the files were there in the directory.

    Here's my PC detail

    Windows 10 Home Single Language

    Version 1607

    OS Build 14393.2007

System Type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I've done the startup troubleshooting as it mentions above, but it said it couldn't repair the pc.

    Hi,

This is a common concern when there's a corruption in the system files. We suggest doing a clean boot to isolate non-Microsoft services from running and run the System File Checker tool to fix possible corruption in the system file.

We look forward to your response.

    All the best.

    Thanks for the respond

I've tried to do the clean boot. When I typed msconfig at the windows search and open it, the similar error message still appears. So basically I couldn't do the clean boot.
