Once again, Azure disappoints - Adding a task

After having difficulty adding a VM (which was magically corrected on the Azure portal with no notification from Microsoft), I'm trying to add a task to schedule a startup of a VM. I go to Add Task, Start Virtual Machine, Connections (my Azure VM is connected), Configuration. I enter what I believe to be everything that is needed to create the task. Here is what I get (attached):

What information is required or is missing for validation? No indication of where this is on this form. Azure is programmed for mysteries.....

Azure Virtual Machines
Azure Virtual Machines
An Azure service that is used to provision Windows and Linux virtual machines.

After more thought, I remembered that I only authenticated the Azure VM (why would I do that for Outlook, too?). What is not in any documentation that I've found is the requirement to do this. Once authenticated and information entered, the task can be added.

Where in the error message I originally posted would anyone decipher this?

    Hi @Pflipper ,

Did you configure both options on the Authentication tab?

After i configured both options I could create the task without a problem.
