Does Microsoft require companys to test Microsoft Patches for a specific about of time?

Hey Team, I have a question about Microsoft Patches and testing them in an environment. Does Microsoft require companies to test patches for a specific length of time before they offer any support to related issues? We have always piloted patches for 2 weeks before deploying them firmwide. We want to shorten piloting to 1 week. If we do so, will Microsoft still offer support? Any thoughts?
