Changing the language of your Windows 10 can be done through Settings app. Follow these steps to change the language:
- Press Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
- Click on Time & language.
- Click on Region & language tab.
- Under Languages, click on Add a language.
- Select the language that you want to add, and then select the specific variation if applicable.
- Select the new language, and then click on Options button (download any the language packs as necessary).
- On Region & language tab, select the new language and click on Set as default button.
- If applicable, under Country or region, select your location to enable the Windows 10 to give you local content.
- Click on Start.
- Type Control Panel, and then press Enter.
- On the top-right corner, set View by to Small icons or Large icons.
- Select Language.
- On the left pane, click on Advanced settings link.
- Click on Apply language settings to the Welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts.
- On the Administrative tab, under the Welcome screen and new user accounts, click on the Copy settings button.
- Check the Welcome screen and system accounts and the. New user accounts options.
- Click on OK button.
- Click on OK button on Region window.
- Reboot your computer and upon restart, you should see the new default language globally set through the operating system.
