I also had this same issue, most replies indicated to go to advance power settings within edit power setting and select Display, then console display, which defaults to 1 min. Well I didn't have that option.
So found someone posted
- Click the Windows 10 Start button and type “regedit” Press Enter to open the Registry Editor and click OK to give permission to make changes to your Windows 10 PC.
- Once you are in the Registry Editor, you’ll need to use the left sidebar to navigate to the following Registry key: “HKEYLOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\7516b95f-f776-4464-8c53-06167f40cc99\8EC4B3A5-6868-48c2-BE75-4F3044BE88A7”
- In the right-hand pane, double left-click the Attributes value to open the properties windows.
- Change the value in the “Value data” box from 1 to 2, then click OK.
Once changed, then typed in search Edit Power Plan to access (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings)
At the bottom of screen clicked on Change Advance Power Settings link to access Power Options
Within there opened the Display (click +) and now had the option for Console lock display off timeout.
Expanded that and can change from 1 minute for when on battery or plugged in,
Hope this helps
