ACE OLEDB 12.0 is excellent, whereas with two defaults: (1) limited to the first 255 columns of data file (text format); (2) the extended property 'FMT=Delimited' not working for tab-delimited text file. there are numerous postings about work-around, but just curious if Microsoft is aware the two defaults and planning to publish an upgrade version.
