    Hello Eric,

For you to be able to put a password on a zipped folder, you'll need to use a third-party program that runs on Windows 10 that will allow you to protect individual files and folders with a password. You can search it over the internet to look for the said program that provides feature to use a password on files and folders.

There are other ways to protect your files and folders in Windows. You can encrypt your files using Encrypting File System (EFS), file encryption helps protect your data by encrypting it. Only someone with the right encryption key (such as a password) can decrypt it. Though, File encryption is not available in Windows 10 Home.

    1. Right-click (or press and hold) a file or folder and select Properties.
    2. Select the Advanced button and select the Encrypt contents to secure data check box.
    3. Select OK to close the Advanced Attributes window, select Apply, and then select OK.

Let us know if you have other concerns.

    Regards.
