Main report in SSRS is not respecting page breaks of subreports. Any fix or work around for this?

I have a subreport in SSRS with page breaks after every group.

I am now attempting to add this subreport in a Main report. But what I find is that when I run the main report, the page breaks are being ignored.

Some people posted similar issues years back where the final answer was that this was a limitation in SSRS. Has this been resolved? Is there a workaround or fix to make the main report respect the page breaks of the subreports?

    Hi Anita @AnitaP ,
    What version are you using?
I use VS2019, I did a simple test locally, the page break of the subreport did not disappear during the preview, so I suggest you upgrade the VS version.

    Hope this helps.
