Uninstalling the AVG program

I go to my programs and files under settings and clicked on the Uninstall AVG Antivirus program and it comes up saying Setup is already running. Please try to start the setup later.  View Log    and Ok. as buttons but when I click on view log it is just blank. So do I just have to wait until it removes it?   So what is going on with it?

    Hello! Sorry you are having this issue. Hopefully we can fix it.

    Please uninstall the program in safe mode. This should hopefully fix the issue.
