Dear Sir,

my windows 10 64-bit version 1709 updating this KB4093112 updates in a loop, that is initializing, downloading (no download stream since the 2nd loop), installing (counting from 0% to 100%), after that, the installation restarting as a loop, what is wrong with that?

I tried restart my PC but nothing help

This workload keeps my CPU working in 60% and above, HDD working in 40% above somethings (max 100% before restart), RAM usage 45%.

Can anyone help on this?

hardware configuration:

Intel CPU i5-3450S 2.8GHz

RAM: 8GB

HDD: 1TB drive C; 2TB drive D with bitlocker locked

Display card: AMD Radeon R9 380

I was getting an error code: 0x80070bc2 when trying to install KB4093112. Following this step help resolved my problem just minutes ago:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows\_10-update/error-0x80070bc2-when-windows-10-update-trying-to/ba4053f2-acec-43db-9305-bca3cc2b8b0c

    • Right-click on Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type the following commands in Command Prompt window. To execute them, press Enter after each one.

    SC config wuauserv start= auto

    SC config bits start= auto

    SC config cryptsvc start= auto

    SC config trustedinstaller start= auto

    • Finally, restart your PC and try to install the update that was previously returning the 0x80070bc2 error.

Did you choose the right processor and the cumulative download?  It worked for me, Error 0x8024200d was gone after a reboot.

as usual MS are incompetent. never ever get a correct answer for my problems here. my system is fresh and also healthy so i'm done with these noob guides. the only familiar solution is a manual update. i guess LeeTrampleasure did the same what i. i just navigate here and downloaded the Update Assistant. click on the Update now button and get the tool. then start it. it will check the system and prepare it for the update. i did it on 2 machines and both works fine now. all up to date.

This forum is just us users trying to help other users. I have been sent in circles sometimes,  and the advice I receive leads nowhere.

If you really get stuck you should contact the actual MS Answer Desk.

It may cost you but sometimes they will put you on the right track to help yourself with a link or some instructions.

This was in the message I received when I had to get help from them.

You can contact us anytime for real-time assistance at this number: 1-800-642-7676.

They did send me a link by email from a "Microsoft Customer Support" address to get me from Win 7 to Win 10.  The free update to Win 10 ended Dec 31, 2017 but if you are in trouble and you have paid the licence for Windows 7 they might help you with your Windows 10 Update.

I hope this helps someone if you are running in circles and you want to stop.
