Hi,
you have to allow Public Live Event in the Teams Admin Center, otherwise you cannot create Public Live Event.
Best.

Microsoft Teams live events

I'm trying to create a live event in Microsoft teams but the public option is not available (there is limitation from Admin IT)
Do you know how I can change it? I wrote 3 times to Microsoft without answer….
Thanks

It needs to have global admin or Teams admin roles to configure Live Event.
You could set up for Live Event in Microsoft Teams as the following 4 steps:
- Set up your network for live events in Teams
- Get and assign licenses
- Set up live events policies
- Set up a video distribution solution for live events in Teams
As a supplement, you can refer this link to get started with Live events: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-started-with-microsoft-teams-live-events-d077fec2-a058-483e-9ab5-1494afda578a.

2020-08-07T14:17:28.59+00:00 I have followed all the steps above and in the Microsoft Live Events configuration settings but is not working on Office 365 A5 Education License for Public invite. It remains to be unavalable.
I would appreciate any help.
