spellchecker error (eventID 33) since spring update

Hello, fresh installation of windows 10 spring update.

Everytime i dont type something quite correct :P it will give an eventviewer message that basicly says something like this :

adding hardcoded changes Brave hendrik -> brave hendrik to the program failed : not implemented

The spellcheckerprogram remains available. (its originally in dutch)

I've already unchecked autocorrect and marking in the settings for typing etc.

But it still continues to mark stuff.. even now this whole page is practically underlined because im typing in English and not Dutch lol.

How to fix this or at the very least filter it from the eventviewer results?

    Hi GerbenS_1980,

In order to determine possible cause and the appropriate solution, I'd like to know additional information about this issue. Can you specify where the issue exactly happens? Does it occur on all programs you use to type? Where in eventviewer do you find these logs (e.g. Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application)? What are the are the languages currently configured/installed on your OS?

If you can also provide me some screenshot with the issue, then that would be helpful.

Hope to hear from you soon.

In happens in all and any windows programs or apps you can type something.

    So Edge, word, mail etc.

I've uninstalled MS office (was an old version from 2015 apparantly, though never used) to see if that made a difference, it did not sadly.

Its indeed under window logs - application (and the uh.. well the one that keeps track of errors and warnings like the accumulative overview, i dont know what thats called in english xD)

Language package is just the Dutch package, no other packages have ever been installed since i've owned this system (feb. 2015 started with 8.1 and upgraded to 10 when it became available)

Nor have i ever fiddled with language packages or even the spellchecker itself in any way, form or shape.

I cant provide a screenshot at the moment, but im going to assume its a fairly Obvious thing, its all in dutch anyway.

I've also made a topic on Reddit, seems this is happening to more people since the spring update, so it might be something the update itself seems to cause for whatever reason.

Hello, I have the same issue after the spring update (1803).

I only have one language installed. I already tried to reset the languages within powershell but to no avail.

    $UserLanguageList = New-WinUserLanguageList -Language "de-DE"

    Set-WinUserLanguageList -LanguageList $UserLanguageList

Windows properly reacts to these commands, but it doesn't fix the problem.

I may need to further review the eventID details to isolate the concern. Simply open Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> Application -> Filter Current Log... -> Type "33" on the EventID -> Hit OK -> Save Filtered Log File As... -> Save file -> Upload file in OneDrive.

Once file is uploaded, share the link to the file on this thread so we can further review.

Hope to hear from you soon.
