Scan to Folder through SMB Scan is notworking in Windows 10 pro

Question

* Scan to a network folder is not working with my Windows 10 pro system

** we are connected 15 system 2 printers in a network, while giving print to the network printer it works but scan to network folder through  SMB is not functioning

**I gave full permission to the network folder

**Printer completes scan but it shows NO RESPONSE while transfer the file

**I have tried updating the windows update might work, it is not working

***Current OS version is 1805

***Old system with same configuration and same OS is working but new system which bought on May Last week having the scan issue.

Open Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Status

Scroll to the bottom

Click Network and Sharing Center

Click Change advanced sharing settings

Expand All Networks

Under Password protected sharing

Switch between 'Turn on password protected sharing and Turn off password protected sharing'

Then choose 'Turn off password protected sharing'

Then click 'Save changes'

Also:

Press Windows key + R

Type: optionalfeatures.exe

Hit Enter

Scroll down to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support

Tick the SMB 1.0/CIFS Client

Untick SMB 1.0/CIFS Automatic Removal and

Untick SMB 1.0/CIFS Server

Click OK

Restart if prompted.

Additional troubleshooting steps you can attempt:

• shut all computer and network gear down.
• Try browsing to some of the computers manually, press Windows key + R, type: \computername, hit Enter
• Press Windows key + R

Type: services.msc

Hit Enter

1. Start the "Function Discovery Provider Host" and "Function Discovery Resource Publication" services, and then set them toAutomatic (Delayed Start).
2. When you open Explorer Network, enable network discovery when you are prompted.

Press Windows key + X > computer management-->shared folders--> choose the shared folder, right click it then click Properties > Share Permissions -->protection that everyone can read and execute, see folder contents and read permissions.

Add the machine to your Windows HOSTS file.

I have done all these steps but still facing the same issue

I am going to recommend you downgrade to Windows 10 1703.

Yes, not the best news you want to hear. These feature updates are not thoroughly engineered and are rushed mostly to meet deadlines. They have become highly unnecessary in some instances. My opinion, focus on the apps and less on having the latest version of Windows. If your apps are working fine and you are getting your work done, minimize your need to jump on the latest release.

Now, get ready to go back to your previous version. I recommend Windows 10 1703 because its the most stable and efficient release to date.

Step 1: Go to another working computer with Internet access, download Windows 10 1703 from the following link:

**In Windows 1709 also same problem exits above downgrade and system reset is also done

**Please guide me to solve this asap
