Azure Files - Storage Sync on-Premise Server locking up

We have the same problem with now two completely separate instances. Two Sync groups with Two different on-premise servers (different physical sites) syncing on premise files to the cloud. Occasionally random a few times a month the SMB shares on the local on premise servers stop responding to file requests. Ie no \servername\sharename access. It is to the point where the server needs to be hard rebooted from the Hypervisor - an OS level soft reboot even hangs up. After a reboot the server seems to stabilize for a while. The only correlation I have found is cloud tiering. Once that was turned on the issues started. Both are running StorageSync Agent 11.1. Windows Event logs for Apps, System and StorageSync dont show any red flags. Looking for some advice on this.
