How to remove setup email alert from SharePoint 2016 doc library. SharePoint doc library email alert on library changes will still be available (ex. uploaded/added, updated document) except the first notification during the first creation of alert in a library ok. how can we remove it via ootb or coding. appreciate your help

    Hi @Joseph Al ,

    To remove alerts set to a library, please take a reference to the following steps:

    • Go to the SharePoint library where you want to set the alert.
    • Select Library, select Alert Me, and then select Manage My Alerts.

    • Beside name of the alert that you want to delete, select the checkbox.
    • Select Delete Selected Alerts, and then select OK.

    Is this a dead end for the modification of the new alert message? There is no way to handle the modification?
