Hi,
I started receiving a 4707 error on Monday whenever I open Word for Mac. I'm running version 16.97. I know there is a repair routine for Windows users but is there one for Mac users?
Thanks,
Norm.

I had this exact some issue but after googling it more, I got it to stop by enable opening in rosetta from the "get info" settings from word in applications.
Go to applications, double tap/right click on Microsoft Word, go to Get Info then select "Open in Rosetta". That fixed it for me.
It seems this issue is related to an Add-In macro that’s loading at startup. In my case, it was either AdobeLinkCreation or Zotero. I was able to resolve it by following these steps:
After that, Word worked normally again—at least for me! 😉
Cheers,
Martin
