Server automatically jumped into console mode from station mode.

We have upgraded the network switches, but strangely few of My servers jumped into console mode automatically and many stayed back in station mode.

I wanted to find out why this happened and why only for few of those not all which were there on network.
More strangely few stayed in station mode only but lost network( unable to connect back to network after the switch change). It needed reboot to get back to station mode.

checked all the nic driver versions etc... everything was same. the servers were hosted on Dell machine.

Please reply, why such behavior of the OS going into console mode automatically.

    I have read this document earlier.

    Wanted to enquire why and when does the servers shift into console mode automatically.
    What all scenarios trigger this type of mode change. Analysed logs but didn’t fimd any specific changes

    And what are the steps to avoid such automatic jumping from station to console mode.

    Please guide me through this rca.
