Dear Wankaew Sitdhigun,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
We understand that you are using Thai in Microsoft office to display fonts that are too small.
Based on your description, we have tested and queried the appropriate thread information and we are getting the corresponding message in different styles of Thai fonts. We have also received issues from other users that the display is too small when using Thai fonts in Office programs.
We are actively gathering more information to help further review and fix this issue.
In the meantime, in order to help you find out if the cause of the issue is related to an error in your system or Office program, you can try the following actions to help you find out:
- Change the regional setting information in your system:
You can press Windows+Q to display the search box, type "Region", open it in the Control Panel, open it, select "Manage", click "Change system settings for this region. "
You can try to check "Beta: Use Unicode UTH-8 for worldwide language support" in the pop-up page.
After checking the box, you can try to retype the Thai message in your office program to see if the font can be displayed normally.
- Reset your office program:
(Before reset, please make sure all your Office files have been backed up and saved, if you have used OneNote and outlook, you need to make sure your notes and emails are backed up to avoid loss of files, meanwhile the reset will put your Office program in its initial form, and the personalized settings you have set up, you need to save them first)
After the reset, you will need to log back into Office using your Microsoft account.
Press Windows + R , type in: regedit in the run box that opens, and press enter.
Locate the following keys to rename the Office folder (right-click on it and select Rename, e.g. rename Office to Officeold)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
Then re-open the word document to try the effect.
Disclaimer: Generally, modifying registry subkeys or work group is intended for advanced users, administrators, and IT Professionals. It can help fix some problems, however, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click How to back up and restore the registry in Windows - Microsoft Support to view the article.
You can also try going back to your version of Office to see if that solves the problem.
Search for cmd in the search box in the lower left corner
Command Prompt and run as administrator
Type in the following two lines one after the other, and press enter after each line
cd %programfiles% \Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun
